    Scope Question 50 BMG

    This is the 4th 50BMG I’ve owned through the years and haven’t found them to be hard on scopes. My first 50 was a “cheap” single shot from a company called VM Hytech that was abusive to shoot. I had a cheapo Tasco 10-40x on it for 150+ rounds, no issues at all.

    I ended up with an ATACR 5-25 and Kahles 525i, I'm a sucker for a deal and ended up with options. I feel like the Kahles may end up on the Barrett just due to the generous eye box.

    I picked up a Barrett and need to stick some glass on it. I will be shooting it suppressed. My question: Regardless of brand etc, I can't decide if I should go 5-25 or 7-35 on power. I've shot lots of rounds suppressed in other large calibers 1000+ yards, in most cases after a couple rounds...
