    Match barrel . . . Really?

    I've got 3 10/22's that easily shoot one inch groups at 50, usually closer to 1/2 with CCI SV. If your plan is .22 matches you're limiting yourself with an AR style 22. 10/22's can do well but a bolt will generally do better.

    Pretty sure the MDT 300 WM magazines will work, they work for a 7 saum. Waters mags with a tikka BM worked the best.

    I would guess that it would, do you have the Sako and mags, I could send you a few pieces of brass with 180's seated to about 3.2 that you could try yourself.

    So, if you're 1000 yards away how are you measuring, walking up and using a ruler or the reticle in your scope. It doesn't matter what the measurements are called, just that they match. So you you missed by 1.6 quarks, dial or hold the 1.6 quarks and hit the target. :)

    Either would run fine, I'd go with the PRC just because it's being currently produced. You can buy factory ammo for it now. I have a 7 Saum throated long for 180's, runs fine in a Tikka with waters mags.

    Are Bergara's slow?

    I put a 24 in PRC barrel on a Tikka that I got a good deal on at Christmas. Norma 143 factory ammo is slower than my 6.5 CM shooting 140's with handloads.
