    It's a JL Billet 308/AR10 15" Angle Cut M-Lok Handguard Low Profile. They also make a high profile to match uppers that require it. I was planning on going with their 17.2" model but wasn't sure if I would then have issues accessing the gas block.

    I've been wondering how much impact does the gas block clearance really has. It's been common practice on bolt actions to check free float by running a dollar between the barrel and the stock. It makes me think now if such clearance is really not sufficient.

    Took a bit of bending to get the cheekpiece wide enough to fit but it was really easy. I did the same thing on my rem700 with a HS-Precision stock.
