    I’m shooting 156’s in a 20” with H1000 and getting 2710. It is a very safe/conservative load. At 16” you could expect 2500-2600 depending on how hard you want to step on in it.

    I can vouch for Travis as well. He builds a very nice rifle. This one is exactly the same as what he speced for you, except it’s a 300 NM. The KS stock is awesome. Came in just over 10 lbs.

    Happy with my 20” would not go any shorter since I like to shoot heavies. Plenty of down range energy for white tails 500yds and in. Originally was going to use it for larger game as well but after finding the velocity was not there I decided to build a big bore light weight 300NM to take care...

    I’m running a 6.5 PRC 20” with Ultra 7 with 156 Berger’s. Safe load at 2705MV 6.5 PRC not the greatest with heavies and short barrel.

    It has the newish Hawkins precision Hunter DBM, plenty of room. Runs flawlessly! Still working on a load but pretty muck settled on 86.3g of v570. Working through seating depth next. Have not taken MV yet with this load but should be close to 2900 - 2950. Gun season just started last weekend...
