Back to powderin'
I have done my initial and refined powder tests and have narrowed down 2 or 3 loads to shoot for grouping. Are you guys shooting these at 300+ yards or at 100 yards? I think the longer distances would be better validation, but at 100 yards you reduce the effect of wind on...
Have you checked the Reloading Depot? There are some recipes posted that may help get you started.

For those who are interested, I found this analogous video showing how to bed a scope rail:

I think I will go with a non-metal epoxy since all I am really doing is making a shim. Plus, it will give me some flexibility should...

Thanks for that video, it is helpful. The only place I have found them locally is Sportsman's Warehouse and the SFP 6-24 I looked at is gone. I have used FFP before but never for varmint hunting. I think it would help with follow-ups after a miss, which happens quite a bit, for some reason...
As a basis for comparison, I have a Rem M700 .223 varmint gun that wore a NF NXS until I put it on something that sees more use. At a local shop, I looked through a 6-24 PST with the reticle in the second focal plane and liked it but am wondering if the FFP reticle is suitable for zapping...
I have an extra ACOG neoprene cover that works fairly well. I put the cover's objective end over the PVS14's eyepiece end for the best fit. This is a storage and transport solution, though.
Re: Vibram five finger shoes
I found this article on minimalist shoes. Good reference info.
