How to Move a Safe (1000 lbs.)

I moved mine a few months ago using a similar method. On the hardwood we used carpet samples under the safe and when we hit the carpet we transferred it onto a cheap piece of vinyl flooring and drug/pushed it the rest of the way. Took 2 of us to do the move.

    Rifle Scopes vortex viper question

Just for example and to clarify a target measuring at 100 yards on 6x reads 2 mil or 2 moa and when on 16x it will read differently such as 1mil or 1 moa, or the opposite 3 mil or 3 moa? If so you definitely need to give Vortex a call.

    IOR Valdada vs Vortex rings

I can't comment on the IOR's quality but I can tell you they are 1.438" compared to the Vortex rings you have listed which are 1.26" so you would be dropping the scope by .17" by going with the vortex. I am running the same scope with an AICS with Seekins "high" rings and these rings are by far...

Rifle Scopes Shot Show 2014 www.texasguntrust.com. Vortex razor HD 2nd gen Optics

Very nice! I have been waiting for a review on these scopes that was more than just words. The video pretty much answered all of my questions. Thanks again.

Rifle Scopes How much scope base cant/elevation do you use? 0MOA? 20MOA? 45MOA?

I thought I laid it out pretty well. From 100 yards to 1000 yards I have to use 12 mil elevation (actually 11.96 but we can round for the example). I have a Vortex Razor HD with 36 mils available travel. Once I zero at 100 I have 24 mils available so dialing 6 mils in elevation from 100...

Rifle Scopes How much scope base cant/elevation do you use? 0MOA? 20MOA? 45MOA?

I went with a 20moa, pretty easy decision for me though. I am shooting a .308 out of a 20". At 1000 yards (about the max I can reach) I need about 12 mils elevation according to the calculator. I wanted to keep my reticle as centered as I could and the 20moa is about dead on. I have 36mil of...

Looking for a hard case with foam cut for an AICS

Thanks for the replies. The IM3300 looks like it fits the bill. The 3200 looks like it is close, inside dimensions are 44" in length, my rifle measures 42.5". Hope to supress the rifle in the future as well so the added length of the 3300 might not be a bad idea. I checked out the cases on...

Looking for a hard case with foam cut for an AICS

Basically as the title says, where can I find foam cut for an AICS? My rifle is a R700 aac-sd with the 1.5 chassis. I can find basic R700, M24, McMillan, pretty much anything with a normal stock but I am having a hard time finding anything for the chassis. I don't trust myself doing the cutting...

Rifle Scopes Ran out of elevation!! (HELP)

Sounds correct to me. 20moa @ 100 yards = 20.94 inches, at 25 yards that is 5.23 inches. OP is seeing a 5" difference at 25 yards. I would assume he is starting at 25 yards to make sure he is on paper at 100. 3 inches high at 25 = 12 inches high at 100 which will probably put him on paper...

    Rifle Scopes Scope bottoming out?

Check available elevation top to bottom. As poster above said there could be shims under the cap.

Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor 5-20x50 in SE Missouri?

If you get up around the St. Louis area I have a 5-20 ebr-2b mrad you can play with. It's mounted on an R700 sps tac aac in an AI chassis.

    acceptable accuracy for long range

Thats the rifle in question. I am even more confused now than I was before dealing with the ammo choice. Using 2575 fps with the 168 my table is showing I should have 1366 fps at 700, 1236 fps at 800 and 1114 fps at 900. I am fairly certain 2575 at the muzzle is on the low side as that called...

Rifle Scopes I have 8-900 to spend on a capped turret hunting scope

I have a 3.5-10x40 VXIII on my main deer rifle but I just sold a rifle with a Kahles Helia C 3-12x56 that I could realistically hunt 10 minutes earlier or later with. You can look through scopes all day long but to me the extra light near dark is what makes a hunting scope, that is where the...

    acceptable accuracy for long range

I recently bought a rifle to have fun shooting some distance. I am very green shooting longer ranges and currently do not reload. The rifle shoots pretty well at 100 yards but I did not have a chrono to check velocity to enter correct data into a ballistics program, no big deal, just back up and...
