    They got back to me today, confirming it's an adaptor issue. They had me try the power cable that came with the scale and it works. They're going to send me out a replacement. Thought I had ruled it out by using a different v4 AT adaptor but apparently not. Crisis averted, hopefully..

    The instructions say that if the whole unit loses power to use the jumper wire, but that's not the case. Literally everything works as it should until you get to dispensing an actual load. I emailed Adam, hopefully I hear back with some help
