I have been shooting since I was 4, had my first firearm at 6, and hunting since 8. Former hi-power rifle [1000 yds] and handgun silhouette [200 yards] shooter.
Nowadays I tend to prefer single shot rifles, because if you are good enough you should only need one shot, or you shouldn't pull the trigger.
I prefer the 1911A1 for daily carry, and have for nearly 30 years, don't much care for the 9mm, dislike the .40 S&W, and will not own an aluminum frame handgun.
Guns, Dogs, RedHeads- but not always in that order.
