    And to you! Just saw your follow on post. 50 yards is strong work! My daughter's were further, but still within very acceptable hunting range. We did manage to stalk to within 25 yards of 2 bachelor bulls, but she could not take the required offhand shot with her strength at that time.

    BTW, she was 13 then, using a 16" 308. One shot dropped each animal dead. No controversy here, just marksmanship and a decent bullet.

    I have not found that to be the case with any of my Tikka lite's. It might be bad for barrel life eventually, but it has not affected my groups or POI. I'm thinking of shooting a lite in the next comp I shoot.

    Yeah, IDK why they haven't. AFAIK, they are all DPMS low pattern, and since all AR10's turn into pigs when decked out, who knows why they do what they do. I wish the 6.5 version had a shorter barrel and a carbine buffer tube...

    Doesn't seem like there is a lot of info on these guns out there. I'm guessing most serious shooters are simply not using them, which is too bad as they seem to perform really well. I do view them more as recce type rifles, rather than true precision rifles, which is probably another reason...
