    I wonder if their higher velocity and lack of lubrication make 22 Mags less impacted by temperature variation than 22LR.

    Hi all. I'm "bumping" this thread hoping I can get some advice. My CZ452 22lr group sizes at 100yds significantly increase when the temperatures here in PA drop below @ 45 degrees or so ..... happens every Fall/Winter and I don't know if that's typical of 22LR ammo or if I have a scope issue...

    Just drop a #5 shot (maybe #7.5 I forget which) into each hole before you put the set-screw in, the shot prevents scoring the receiver.

    I've had a Leapers 3-9x32 Mil Dot on my CZ452 for 3 years of almost weekly shooting 22LR at 50 & 100 yds and its been great so far.
