    If you have a .473 bolt and a short action mag, all you need is a barrel. I just got a 22 Creed SRS barrel from PVA. Only 12 rounds down it so far, so I can't claim anything, but it looked very good in the borescope. Turnaround was about 2 months.

    Correct. I tried a few different Salmon River Solutions rails. This vid shows them both. The rail setup shown near the end is what I've been running the last year or so.

    Yeah, I hit a little high on the shoulder blade, which tends to leave a giant crater, and parts fly everywhere. Interestingly, if hit them head-on in the chest, or right behind the shoulder, the 75 ELDM acts like a varmint bullet. Small entrance, no exit, and dead right there.

    You might be mixing a few things here. I don't believe the OP has an Impulse Predator. I commented that I do. I'll say that I don't think there's any reason for a pissing match here. So anyhow... @shoots100 how hard would it be for your machinist buddy to copy the Predator bottom metal...

    It would be neato if Savage would just sell you the Predator (aics) bottom metal, but based on my experience with them, I doubt it. They act like no one would ever want to buy individual rifle parts for their rifles.
