    Assuming most “Danger” related engagements are inside 100-200 yards, I think M80A1 out of any AR10 would be the ultimate bear defense round in a small-ish caliber. You need both real penetration AND lethal ballistic fragmentation. A1 does both. It’s just not “precision” ammo, so longer ranges...
