    .223 Load for a Rem700 1:9 Twist Gen 1

    I'm having a hell of a time finding a load for this rifle. Powders I have are RL15, H322, H335, IMR 3031, IMR4064, IMR4320, AA2230, CFE223. Does anybody load Hornady SSTs?

I have never had any luck with Hornady Bullets, except their pistol bullets. Accuracy was never great. Accuracy with their factory was pretty good, but the brass was too soft and dented easily. AFAIC there are better bullets out there. My nickle due to inflation. YMMV.

Load data on military 308 sniper rounds

M118LR was loaded with RL15 and the Sierra 175gr MK @2700fps. The original load was too hot for the M14's, it was found the the RL15 is temperature sensitive which I also found out through my own chrono testing. A velocity spike of 51fps from April to August, so the charge was reduced by over 1gr.
