    Only 40, just about to work up some loads for it. Is a hammer with southwest 300 smk's. Going to try some hornady 285's and I still have a bunch of 300 bergers to play with also. Still waiting on my .308 conversion for it. The Bender looks great on your AX!

    Thanks, I was about to pull the trigger on the PSR. Had 2 problems with it: 1) dont need .300 win mag 2) no way to hide that monster case from my wife

    I had a DTA with .308 and .338 lapua conversions and I bought an AX .308. After about a month I found I liked the ergonomics and trigger alot better on the AI. So like any guy with gun ADD I sold the DTA, the AX and bought the AXMC in .338 and will be waiting impatiently on the .308 conversion...

    Realistic expectations with the 338

    I am getting 2790 out of my DTA with 26" barrel. Load is retumbo w/ 300 grain Berger OTM
