    That is wild! Must admit - I probably would have just taken off and not taken the pictures. I have already had dogs snap at me a few times while on my dirt bike. Definitely would not want to give a wolf the opportunity.

    Appreciate the clarification on the use of the ramp on the rear baffle as I had it backwards. Obviously working from memory was not a good thing. Will need to be a bit more careful in my grammar as well as I stated things poorly. :-(

    Ruger 10/22 needs to perform better

    Based on what I have read, 1/2 inch groups at 50 yardsit can be done - but seems to be dependent on the barrel and ammo. From the Kidd website (Frequently Asked Questions) "Yes, we guarantee all of our barrels will group a half an inch at fifty yards."

    If the spacer has a small ramp at the end of it, it is part of the bolt assembly. It sits between the bolt head and the receiver block and locks the floating bolt head in place against the lugs when the bolt is closed. Took me a while to figure out when I first got my FLCP as it was rattling...

    Actually -I think it is a great idea! Keeps the brass off the floor and makes it easy to collect. Sometimes the simple solutions are the best.
