Do any of you own a Glock watch? If so, where are they made, and what are your likes and dislikes? TYIA

when it comes to watches:

1) if they dont tell you where they are made.....they are made in china.
2) if they dont specify the movement....its the cheapest movement.

it looks like they are all sporting saphire crystals, which should be expected, especially for $500+ watches.

looks like either Seiko or Ronda movements....which are fine....solid workhorses, and to be expected for this price range.

almost certainly made in China...which...eh...the movement is the important part, so China made, for the price really doesnt mean poor quality....just doesnt have the panache of "Swiss/ German/ Japanese/ American made"

water resistance of 50-200M depending on model...which is fine.

they are a little garish for my taste....ide expect something a little more utilitarian...especially if its sporting the "glock" logo.....i was expecting to see a more a Marathon vibe.

personally i also think they are $100-150 over priced....but thats likely due to there being no grey-market dealers for them.

if you like them, it probably wont be a bad watch for you.
Unless something has changed very recently, Seiko manufactures everything Seiko.
Even the lubricant they use.
Everything.

NOT made in China.

You can spend $299 on a Glock watch that just tells time or for just another $100 more you can buy a watch that actually does some shit......

Man Yah it does some shit.... phone finder, lactate tracker?

Can't say I own one myself, but hey, never say never, right? I mean, who wouldn't wanna rock a slick timepiece that's got that Glock vibe? It's like bringing a piece of the range with you everywhere you go. Plus, there's somethin' about that rugged durability that just screams "wear me everywhere." And hey, if you're into that whole tactical vibe, it's definitely a conversation starter. But hey, speaking of watches, have y'all checked out replicapanerai.io? They've got some seriously cool stuff over there. Just sayin'.

I've worn a Seiko Black Monster since they first came out over twnety years ago. Its a rugged, good looking dive watch but if you're not wearing it, it dies. I had the 7S26 Automatic mov't replaced, hoping that would lengthen the power reserve to it's advertised 40 hours, but it didn't.

I bought one of their solar movement watches. It keeps time, and looks nice. The guy at my local watch repair shop looked at it for 30 seconds and said it had a Citizen solar movement. I'm gonna ask him to open it up to confirm. Then I'll make a youtube video with my review of the watch.

I have been using a citizen nighthawk solar for years and it's solid.

I might need one
Me too, though not really in the market for one… And unlike Rolex, Omega, or even other more popular Breitling lines they seem to be pretty reasonably priced on the second-hand market:

I’ll just stick with my old Breitling Blackbird, commemorating the AF’s 50th anniversary for now though; especially since I had it refurbished by Breitling a few years ago for about the same price as one of those Colt series watches with a quartz meovement!
