Looking to pick up a Zeiss 6-36 s3. Trying to see what the best place to purchase online, that does a good job with shipping and packaging. Last few items I’ve ordered online have been packaged very poorly. What’s the go to place for optics online?
Thanks

We should have our Zeiss 6-36 S3’s shipping in this week or next. Feel free to give me a call directly at 96-628-3490 if you’d like. We will also make sure your scope is properly packaged as we do will all our orders.

Not to hijack, but I thought I was pretty settled on an S3 5-25, but what's the deal with the parallax knob?
No numbers, just shaded rectangles?
Does anyone find that to be a pain?

Because the numbers are simply a guideline, more-so than a rule, because parallax is subjective to lots of factors. The only way your parallax numbers and image clarity is going to match 100%, is if your eyes are perfectly 20/20 vision, your diopter is set perfectly, your distance is dead-nuts on, the temp and weather conditions are perfect, there’s no mirage, etc…

I understand that, but a number is an unmistakable reference, shaded squares can't be dialed as quick I wouldn't imagine

went back and looked at what i paid for an S3 4-25 back in December. It appears the prices went up 33% since then and thats almost $600 of a price increase.

i guess demand is driving the price.

They were all on sale then from Zeiss IIRC. I believe they were all 25% off. For the OP, Expert Voice offers a good savings if you're a veteran.
