Hey guys I’ve been trying to research this myself but Im not getting anywhere.

Can someone recommend me a place where I can buy one of them nifty little temperature gauged ammo boxes?

I’m loading 338 LM and its beyond salami spec OAL and won’t fit into any box I have so I was going to use this as a good excuse to upgrade to what the pros are using. Thanks.

How about a thermoelectric cooler. They make small ones that run off of 12 volts. They both heat and cool.

ive been eyeing this one as a small unit to convert

8 Liter/Quart Electric Car Cooler & Warmer 12v Plug in Cooler with AC/DC Car Mini Fridge Portable Electric Cooler for Car/Camping/Travelling/Truck

there is a 6.6l one also but is more expensive, I havent found a small one with a battery idea if it could charge a phone and or a c1 also it be nice to have displacement of crap.

The 12V thermoelectric heaters work well. You can run them off a LiFePO4 battery and they don't weigh a ton. A lot of FCSA guys preheat ammo if they are using 20n29.

The better way to do it is with a silicon heating pad and a PID controller. You can stick that in a cooler easily enough.

I keep my ammo box's in a Honey Baked Styrofoam shipping box & pull out needed rounds just before firing. I'm not trying to heat or cool just keep temp stable, but I'm sure you could just add a heat or cool pack. Just get & keep the ammo your desired temp well ahead of time.

The oldest ammo I've fired was WCC 41 M2 ball. Yeah that's 1941 ammo, I wish I hadn't because it may have been worth more to a collector. I still have 20 rounds.
I also have 50 year old Lake City (LC) and HXP from the CMP. Nice and shiny and it goes BANG! every trigger pull.
