McLeod Precision - Bag Rider V1

Details:
CNC machined 6061-T6 Aluminum and Cerakote finish matched to the factory black.

Flat bottom with full radius edge for ideal tripod rear support engagement. Top surface has grip ridge texture to it (smooth). Does not stick out at all presenting any snagging surfaces. Tapers to match the grip support width. All other edges have a radius and are smooth.

Attaches with 2 MLOK fasteners (provided) into the MLOK slot on the bottom of the MDT rear stock. 4.9oz weight.

Tested by a top 10 PRS shooter. Everyone is happy. Get yours now.

This ONLY fits the MDT ACC Elite chassis, the bag rider matches the angles on the ACC Elite and would not present correctly on a different chassis.

These are shipping now. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Kevin

Outstanding and I hope you sell a ton of them. MDT really has zero excuse for not making a minor change to the Premier bag rider so it has a horizontal bottom when mounted to an Elite.

Big company procrastinating and making excuses is an invitation to an agile business like yours to profit.

Way to go!

hmmmm mine just sat there spinning at the bottom of the page...tried twice. Could have been me, but went through quick on apple pay.
My service provider said it was a paypal issue for a short period yesterday. Nothing specific to my site, happened on a bunch of other sites. Had a buddy test it who is Apple/Paypal and all seems fine. Thanks for letting me know, I would not know if there is an issue otherwise.

If anyone thinks they want one for next weekend matches, place your order in the next few hours (by 8PM Pacific cutoff) and they will ship tomorrow. I have 5 unsold ones left from the batch we are finishing tonight. First come, first serve on the 5 left. Next batch will ship on Thursday.

Anyone who already has an order in, yours will ship Monday/tomorrow. Thank you all very much for the enormous response and orders. The machine shop has been lit up all weekend.

Install tip: the damper insert will tend to prevent the MLOK nuts from rotating.

Remove the insert when you install, put it back in when done.

You can also use a small screwdriver through the bottom slot to push the damper out of the way (each bottom side) creating a gap for the MLOK rotation.

Those are 10-24 screws so torque them down tight. There is a small amount of forward / rear adjustment. I suggest setting it forward, but see what you like.

Thanks,
Kevin

Bump for Kevin. He can not offer customer service any better.

My package for my bag rider showed up today empty due to someone stealing it. I assume they may have thought it was a knife. I immediately called Kevin while on the way to my post office. After dealing with the post office, Kevin took care of his customers even though he was not required.

Again, great customer service and products.

Thank you for the kind words and no worries at all on the replacement. It happens, thankfully very rare. This is the first one swiped and only had one of my Xero sleds damaged. Not bad for the hundreds of items I have shipped via usps. Cost of doing business.

I did order some nice custom boxes for the bag rider this evening!

Not bashing at all....and a big thank you to @McLeod_Precision for doing what MDT should have done long ago.

But McLeod... a local shooter friend, @TheOE800, bought one and we both wonder why the heck you didn't design it to be completely parallel to the bore? Its close but not quite. Yeah, it needs to stay clear of the grip to butt stock support but if it was just a bit shorter then....maybe...right?

Cheers

Yeah, we tried that and other configurations on a bunch of 3d printed prototypes before moving to metal. Didn't like it that way. Tripod rear comfort and function was priority one. Prone recoil was last on the list, none of us who tested have a recoil issue to manage like that, although those with larger caliber setup/lighter rifle, maybe so. Prone was about bag engagement beyond just no bag rider and that works.

Maybe MDT will be doing something flat for those of you that desire it. Appreciate the questions.
