For sale is an old Remington 223 Action. It is BLUED and has factory peep site tapped holes. The bolt has a matching last 4 of serial engraved on it.
The serial number contains NO LETTERS. From the research I have done, the serial puts it in production around late 73 or early 74? My guess is 74, but it had no barrel when I bought it to really identify further.
This is for the original action with the full trigger and bolt release parts still on it. It originally had a .222 barrel on it but was removed. (Still shown in pictures.)
