Everyone wants to be LeBron or that cross-dressing North-Korea-loving oaf... or a thug. Or a gangsta. Or just-off-the-boat third world shit who can pitch. Sports is nothing but a shit hole of ignorant brutes these days. Might as well be watching robots with bad mouths.
In a world of spoiled oafs being paid millions to play childrens games.... We need more Americans like Willie Mays.
Be like Willie Mays should be the goal of every young sports-person these days.

would your life be changed if there were never anymore PGA, pro or college sports,no super bowel,no world series etc? not mine at all. might be improved by the reduction of bullshit in the air. spectator sports or just the circuses from the roman bread and circuses. of not even the slightest importance. in fact they are not even sports. if played with a ball it is a game. sports are track,field,swimming,judo,boxing,weight lifting etc. yea shooting is a sport,hunting for sure.

Met him at a card show in CA back in the really late 80's. Like an idiot, I sold his autograph and 1962 Tops card (IIRC) when I was a teenager. He was a humble man unlike a lot of the "stars" that I met of that era (Jose Canseco and Rickey Henderson).
