JD I'll have to check that out I would be interested. Do y'all have a website or how do I contact the group? Currently I shoot at ETTS we have a 1200 yard lane with steel from 360 all the way out.

I’ve shot NETT it’s about 35-40 mins for me. In it In Garland.

I’ll send you a link about the match info in a bit. Unloading my gear.

You can shout out to 1 mile there.
Yeah, understandable rules. You have to qualify before going for a mile. Essentially, you and whatever rig you bring should be capable of 1 MOA or better at longer than 100 yards. I imagine it is just a matter of asking an RSO to qualify you. You have to hit 5 IPSC targets at 300 to 700 yards in sequential order.

What I am not sure of is how long you get to practice at those intermediate LR distances. That is, how do you go from 100 to 700 without some practice?

Find private property? In which case, going to the club would be for competitions?

Once you have your MV you input that into the kestrel or a ballistics app, and you have your data. I have access to up to 500yds I usually dope my stuff from there. Pretty simple once you have zero and sold MV, and after taking a class, Frank and Taylor’s Gravity Ballistics is pretty good as well.

I qualified with the range owner. Super nice guy and very helpful. Have shot there 3-4 times. Great range and they run some good matches. Top notch in my book.
