All of the instructions I have found for setting up an expander die is just to open the mouth of the neck for bullet seating vs. resizing a bottleneck to a different caliber. I have an RCBS 3-die set. Can someone provide info on setting the die up? How far should I screw the expander down to resize the neck? Thanks.

Not sure if you're still trying to figure this out or not but here are the instructions for setting up the 21st Century expander mandrel die. I think most of the other brands would be similar. The main thing to look for is to make sure mandrel is pushed far enough into the neck.

Much appreciated. It may be this video I watched, but I got it set up correctly. Merry Christmas.
