Wondering if anyone has ran the PT&G stealth dbm for a Model 70 on a custom stock? I'd like to rebuild a model 70 chambered in 7mm wsm, possibly in an HS precision or a McMillan stock and just have this bottom metal inleted to run mags. I'm looking at doing this as a birthday present for my father in law to try and get him back into the game. Any help would be appreciated.

Look up Pt&g threads here first. Generally disliked for good reason. If you ever decide to buy their products, never buy it from them direct.
Here is one that was last updated on Friday.

Check out the Fn spr thread. Some good direction in there. Might be good to call @LRI (long rifles inc) as well.

I appreciate this. I did find a place in Canada, Alberta Tactical that has a DBM for the model 70 but doesn't look like they ship to the States. I'll send a message over to LRI and see what that l they recommend.
    Thank you

American Precision Arms makes a real nice DBM. The magazine release is built into the trigger guard and is ambidextrous. I have theirs on 4 rifles. I just checked their website and all are out of stock but you might get on a waiting list?

EDIT: I just realized that you are after win 70 stuff and I think all of these are rem 700

No love for the Winchester I guess. MDT used to make inlets for them but not anymore. I'm waiting for the company out of Canada to reply to see if they would ship to the States. Getting the dbm isn't a deal breaker, just wanted to upgrade really.

    Saw this but it's discontinued:

These are good bottom metals. One of my FN SPRs is running that exact bottom metal. I doubt you'll find anything else. Just go through them and their website using your credit card not debit card. If shit hits the fan, you can file a case with your credit card and get your money back.
