I sort of thought about putting the the send-it on the forward ring and running the fiber optics next to the timer ( all existing hardware) but not sure how many use that tech.

Good concept, but combine the timer and the level together as a single unit and you have a winner! Actually, combine the timer, level and fiber optics together and you have a winner.

MDT has a newer video with more details, it's not listed on their YouTube video list. Much better info.

Since I a mostly ZCO shooter I use these for my send-it’s. It would be pretty easy to extend it 3/4” and add another inlet and mount screw hole and get longer mount screws.

I ordered one today. . . I kept telling myself I didn't "need" it, but thats true of half the other things. My last tour in the Marine Corps was on I&I Duty. We did a lot of funerals. I never once saw an armored Brinks Truck following a horse.

Hmmm . . . Would neodymium magnets have an adverse effect on either the Send-It level or the Crush-It timer? That might be an easy way to piggy back the timer on the level. I _think_ that would be better than Velcro, although there would still be some risk to losing it in tight quarters.

If you are looking for existing out of the box, mount the send-it on the forward ring mount and use the fiber optic kit to attach the fibers to the scope eye piece. The attach the timer to the rear ring mount holes.

So, I wanted to share a little bit of feedback since I’ve now had a few days to use the timer. One day of dry fire practice at home learning all the settings and then yesterday on the range practicing with the guys.

One of the features that made this timer attractive to me was the ability to use a pressure switch. The day I ordered the timer, I also ordered a few switches from Amazon to try. So far both have been inconsistent compared to just pressing the main button on the timer. To try and stay in sync with the RO timer, you need to have the timer start almost instantly and this is just not happening. I think the problem is a cross between the pressure switches not being sensitive enough and the way you hold a heavy PRS rifle when you’re about to start a stage. It’s hard to put enough direct pressure on the switch.

I’d like to see MDT develop a switch for it. So, we know it’s been tested and works. Something like the wheel on a computer mouse that you can just roll forward with the tip of your finger. The timer holds a ton of value just using the main button, but one-handed operation is the key full value.

I’m curious to hear from others who might have used a switch.

I agree with @Zeo. I’ve been rearranging and trying different positions. The heavy PRS rifles and bags we’re holding don’t leave a lot of room to mount/manage it.

I’ve got an area 419 mount coming to try and keep everything organized (dope card, timer and level)

I shot my first match with the timer last weekend. It was a struggle getting it mounted in the factory configuration but it was doable. (more on that in a second) overall very happy with it. Like the other guys I do want a pressure switch but I'm going to let you guys work the kinks out of those. I'm definitely losing 1-2 seconds for my new start position to hit the button on the timer. So after I got home from the match I played with the mounting. I have area 419 rings with the Pic rail accessory. Hawk hill data card mounted on that. What I did is switch the original mount from my sendit level (which was horizontal on the rifles Pic rail) and put that on the timer and mounted it on the area 419 Pic rail right in front of the hawk hill data card. Which puts the timer vertical right behind my parallax knob. Then the original timer mount on the send it level mounted to the Rifles Pic rail puts the level mounted vertically just forward of the parallax knob. I'll grab a picture and add it tonight. Looks like a promising setup.

I would be interested in seeing how you setup it up on your rifle. I saw a couple this weekend at the TBP Scorcher match and they looked cool. The shooters really did like them. My problem is I have almost no place to put it on and the MDT Level on my mount.

Going to try this setup. Easier activation, but too close to see easily while on glass. I think it’ll be a decent compromise, I pretty much only check my previous timer while building my last position anyway. I might try to fab up a remote switch if this doesn’t pan out, but would prefer no wires or extraneous doodads.

I always start high ready and usually have my bag in my left hand. With the switch mounted on the left side, I can press it with the left thumb no issues. So far the switch works fine. There are no activation delays or anything weird.

I've tried three different switches in similar places and none of them have been perfectly consistent on starts. I've resigned to just balancing my bag on my left shoulder and pressing the button on the timer. I really hope MDT can make something that is just more of a simple button that uses the 2.5mm jack.

The switch I have doesn’t take much pressure to start the timer. Based on how I typically start a stage and how I position my gear, I don’t have issues starting the timer.

Thanks for posting this. It comes down to how I need it mounted on the right side for me. When holding my rifle up, I just can't put enough direct pressure on it every time. I'm going to make my own switch using a small tactile button/switch and see how that works.


Here are the three I tried. Just like 021411 above, the long one on the right worked the best. It just doesn't fit where I need it to.




I just used some 3M double sided tape and attached it to the Send it level

First match with the timer today. Wrapping my thumb around the grip like that was super uncomfortable and awkward. The 3M click type velcro works, but the timer can fall off easier than I’d like. I need to figure out a better solution.

Unfortunately running coupled mags and the Send-It in my desired spot severely limits my mounting options.

Just mounted on the Mlok weak side thumb rest slot of the ACC Elite. I had a spare mlok mount for the mv3.
Anyone going down that road too? Still haven’t had the chance to try either in training or match.
And yes my TL3 bolt shroud needs repainting.

I used mine at a match recently but did not use the pressure switch. I didn’t have trouble hitting the button when the RO started the clock. The only time I had to finagle hitting the button was when I had to juggle a tripod along with support bag.
