There are 3 C5's sitting on the ramp. 2 are up on jacks. What does that indicate?

It means they ran out of jacks.
Waiting for a ride home after a long deployment and seeing a C5 pull up on the ramp means two things.
1. You're not getting home when you thought you were.
2. Those extra days are going to be spent somewhere NICE!

I remember many C-5 and C-141 flights, prior to takeoff, where the crew members mentioned a "possible discrepancy" that could cause us to divert.

And yeah, it was usually something like Rhein Main, or somewhere in Italy.

Seems every C5 I ever boarded IFEd before landing. Once three hours overvthe Atlantic. Back to Spain we went.
