Guys, I have a friend who wants to get a plaque made for a buddy of his who was a soldier and this is his patch. Best pic I could get unfortunately, but I figured someone here could identify it for me.

If anyone can give me info or a link to a better pic of this patch or a link to read about it, I’d greatly appreciate it.

That photo was more than sufficient. I knew straight off what it was, through my sunglasses on a four year old cheap and small iPhone SE with old man eyes and no readers on.

    Go see an eye doctor.

    Eat shit.

I was not an army worm.
    Don't care about army shit.

Could be a snake, could be some rendition of a bird in flight, could be stylized #3.....
When I was in we didn't use the faux black and white shit like that, we used the colors and it made everything more legible.

My eyes are just fine, thank you nary much.

Yep, I was a Gunnery Sergeant 0369/8541 in the army, that’s how I knew it right off.

Or maybe I just actually have a clue. When you actually go to war, you tend to work with the army. A lot.

Since when did the Army have Gunnery Sergeants? I know jar heads aren’t bright, but they usually remember their branch.
