I’m going to print a bore guide for my Curtis 22lr conversion since no company makes one. My biggest concern is making sure the solvents don’t break down the plastic and get gunk in the barrel. What types of plastics would be best for making a bore guide?

Thanks in advance

I have made bore guides out of pla pro. I haven't had issues with it. I am using c4 and tomorrow blend in mine.
The big thing is you are only going to be using mild corrosives. I think you'll be ok with either petg or PLA pro. Mine have down no signs of breaking down over a few years

We use all kinds of filaments in the print farm at the shop and have tested them in various situations. I would not recommend one that has carbon fiber in it - nylonX, NylonG, etc. they are hygroscopic to a degree and can absorb fluids so it makes cleaning them a pain after the fact. Also the finish can be rough compared to other filaments and Delrin so it could grab patches, etc.

Granted there are printers that can make the cf prints smoother, but we have found the absorption characteristics remain and it is especially bad at the layering points and angle changes regardless of the printer and filament brand used. We even found this with Markforged material. After conferring with them on it we determined together that the only way to fully prevent this was with a conformal coating which is way outside the scope of your project.

If you want the most chemical resistant filament, print it in polypropylene.

Price isn't terrible, you can get it for $40/Kg on Amazon:

If you're just printing if for yourself, use PETG. If it degrades, just print another one. It's cheap!
