OK SoCal - did you feel that?

I didn't feel this one in OC. I did feel a few maybe 2-3 weeks ago that were smaller but close to the beach. One of them felt like someone smacked the asphalt with a hammer under my feet before the quick shake. Those were small in the 3.0 range. I don't get excited until its 6.8 or bigger. Still better than dealing with Hurricanes and Tornados.

Everywhere. And those landfills are full of shock absorbent plastic grocery bags.

I don't know anywhere where people have houses on top of landfills...

Maybe in your area but not out here. There have been a few golf courses, parks and such but even those have rightly been somewhat controversial.

There's a Hilton in Tucson that built on top of an old landfill. I've been there a few times for 'Traffic Safety' courses. :D

Oxnard had a big landfill and they built a golf course AND houses on top of it,
