Eventually good folks will have to do what they wish they didn't have to do in order to protect their children.
When the courts blatantly violate the rights of citizens and become corrupt to the max, the idea of law becomes a joke and eventually the citizens will realize (perhaps too late) that they have no obligation to obey any law when the law and courts and government are fully corrupt.

The ruling reads:


“To avoid dismissal on immunity grounds, plaintiffs would have had to present well-pleaded allegations showing that (1) at least one defendant was not a covered person, (2) some conduct by a defendant was not causally related to administering a covered countermeasure, (3) the substance injected into L.P. was not a covered countermeasure, or (4) there was no PREP Act declaration in effect at the time L.P. was injected.”

In the event of a public health emergency, the PREP Act ensures certain “covered persons” are immune from claims causally related to the use of a “covered countermeasure.”


A vaccine is considered a covered countermeasure.

Well at least you read the article which is more that 99% do.

The point of contention was the parents sued when the child was accidentally vaccinated and the ruling says they have no standing to sue as the govt is immune.

Like I sad, different, but still ridiculous BS.

SO the ruling doesn't say the state can vaccinate your children, it says if they 'accidentally' vaccinate your children they are immune from prosecution.justice (which is slightly more terrifying--"OOPS you said not to but we made a mistake!). It may be a PO-TAY-TO, PO-TAH-TOE, but rulings often depend on these subtle differences. (Like US v Miller and the "Not for Military Use" uh...that means standard issue M4 should be legal for all U.S. Citizens and Legal Residents!)

No my point was this actually gives them more cover as they can "Accidentally" vaccinate you. This covers even your opt-outs and religious exemptions.

So yeah, I'm thinking alright.

No but I can see how that ruling can be abused. I am aware of the case in chief but the ruling does more than address that.

The PREP Act and this subsequent ruling allows immunity from any "mistakes". The willfull misconduct must be proven and if eventually it ever is, the harm caused is irreversible. You don't like "qualified immunity", TF do you think this is?

I guess you have more faith in human nature than the rest of us.

As for you being an arrogant asshole, it's probably because you are unable to conduct a conversation with anyone who sees things a little different than you.

I once got into a 2A arguement with the daughter of someone I went to HS with in NJ. She used an example of some fairly famous person who lived in Vermont and was for gun control. When I pointed out that person moved there from a left-wing state, her head exploded. The ruling about a guy not being able to "train with guns" on his own property sealed my opinion about the current state of the state. I saw the same BS from people I knew who moved to PA from NJ...to get away from the high housing prices and taxes of course. You don't like guns? Then don't get one...but don't try to restrict my rights...or go back where you came from
