SureFire FA762-SS cloning?

They sell for $400-$500+, so I would assume there’s at least a decent demand. KMW clone can??? I’m in for the group buy!
LOL.
Definitely NOT considering making suppressors, clone or not.
Not going to make clone adapters either.

Until recently, I have been trashing any CA762ssal/re muzzle devices that were coming in on agency rebarrel jobs. Didn't know if it was worth saving a few, thus my question above.

Easily $3-400 a piece on the flash hider versions

I have one of these brakes sitting around....I know ecco machine is backed up and not taking any more work to make conversions. is there another machinist around that can do the conversion with a tab to re-index the can on the mount the same way each time?

You’ll save considerable weight adding the tab to the baffle stack instead of having it hanging off the front of the adapter

My xm-3 should be done in a month or so, so I made some time to finish my clone can.

Sounds great on a 12” 6.5G and a 24” 6.5c using a quell tech OTB adapter.
9” tube with a 3.25” shelf. Stack order against the shelf:
Alignment tab
Flat SS baffle
2 SS double angle cones
7 Ti double angle cones. All the cones single clipped and about evenly spaced.

For the alignment tab, I cut a 50 degree cone then dremeled all the cone away except for a little triangle tab that the muzzle device can only index on one way without touching. No baffle pics, but I’ll post pics of how the tab works when I get the rifle back.

Weighs in at a hair over 19oz, with 5 and change of that being the Surefire adapter.

looking forward to seeing that. I'm waiting for ECCO to start taking work orders again.

UPDATE - I have a guy that’s local to me that’s looking to replicate Skunk’s HUB mount. He is still working on it as he gets spare time here and there, but said he would likely be willing to do more once he gets mine done first. Best guess is another month or two of him tinkering with it until he finishes, but hopefully another option for everyone.
