Property taxes are potential RICO violations?

Wish in one hand.gif

There are a lot of these videos these two have put out and all of them are equally fascinating and horrifying. Gotta say though, that dude has some stones. If he gets his wish it won’t just be the CADs that go away, ISDs and city offices will go bankrupt officially. And the pensions across the nation will be revealed for what they reallly are.

So, there's a guy running for sheriff in brazoria county, as an independent, that has said if he's elected he's going to investigate the county tax assessor for fraud.

I'm in the next county over so I can't vote for the guy. But if I could, I would.

Harris County is about an hour north of us.

What I dont get is why I have to pay school taxes when I dont have kids in school or never did.You want kids you pay for their education from K-college.I dont care if they wind up selling pencils on the corner for a living just dont tax me for your kids.
When we moved to Texas almost 20 years ago the no income tax was awesome. We came from Kommufornia. It allowed us to keep another 10% of our income over all. We had an $80k house, property taxes were like $1000 a year and didn't increase more than a 1-2% a year for almost 10 years. Not really a big deal. The last 8 years our taxes have gone up the maximum amount every year.

If we were paying a set income percentage we wouldn't have seen this increase.

As for paying for the schools, it's hard to pick who has kids, who doesn't, who is a fucking rabbit with 12 kids....( Those crazy fucks don't pay any taxes.....). Good schools are good for the entire community, whether you have kids or not.

I think it's just fucked how you can be shoved out of a property you own, from unrealized gains. I shouldn't have to rent my property from the government forever.

Or at least your homestead exemption should be the purchase/appraised value when you purchased it.

This is where Conservatives always screw up. It doesn't matter if it's taxes, guns, whatever, it all boils down to a me me me idea so any "movement" they have is somewhere between herding cats and a monkey fucking a football. Democrats don't have the same me me me problem so they stick together more.

The point to these videos and lawsuits is that the “unrealized gains” are made up numbers to support the cities and ISDs need to spend ever increased amounts of money. It’s a fraud and they will take people’s homes if they don’t play. So far there have been lawsuits in multiple states.

Yeah it seems like they constantly reassess your house for more money even if the economy is going down.

Me me me is taxed more than enough so they they they (the govt.) should live within their means. No reason to have a school superintendent making 600k and have 3 assistants at 300 k each.Waste fraud and abuse has nothing o do with conservative or me me me.

I agree for the most part except about the good schools. Where I live there are districts that I wouldnt send a rat to school in and yet they are paying taxes.I guess what I am saying is you are getting very little for you investment with these public schools.
