Super, young man. Great talent, even better character. Single elimination 104 teams - they took it all last week. What a hoot to watch!

Ok can’t help it again...grandson’s 13 yr Florida team has been smoking tournaments across the country
Just this ending took it all handing California the loss in the Las Vegas championship

Thats really really cool. I took 2 of my sons there. One of them was a really really strong team and we took 6th. To win it they must be a great team.

Those two weeks are some of my favorite memories ever. I loved it there.

17 years old now, summer between jr/sr yr HS. Playing on 2 travel ball teams all over from SE Sates to Omaha and the DR. Just finished a few Tournaments in NC, ATL and FL. All highest level Invitationals, headed to Omaha for the big one in July. Recruited by lots of D1, best D2 in the Country. Hasn’t hit maturity yet, so doesn’t razor not required - only going to get bigger and stronger.

A clip from ATL Wooden bat championship series last week:

Is he the kid playing with the pretty flowers in the background?

Slightly more serious note, kid looks like he has a bright future.

Give him three pieces of the world’s simplest advice — if you haven’t already.

#1 - “The 3 Stupids Rule” — Don’t go stupid places, with stupid people, and do stupid things.

#2 - “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.” Doing something dumb never ends well, even if you survive.

#3 - A clean conscience makes a soft pillow. Always be the first to do the right thing. Don’t wait for or expect someone else to do it.

Coached by Gary Sheffield for 6 years, playing with his boys as well. Noah and Christian Sheffield will definitely get drafted one day. Now has several former Pros in his training regimen. He needs a few more years of maturity I think before he gets significant opportunities at that level. Although an area Agent for 4 teams is following him currently and has talked to my son about his projectability being excellent.

That’s great. I remember those days other than we didn’t have travel ball back in the day. We played American legion. It was the big stuff back then. I played at Mississippi state in the 80s. I blew out my shoulder my senior yr of highschool. Too much throwing g. I was projected as a second round pick out of highschool until that happened. So I ended up going to college. Not my plan. Tell him to stay clean, work hard- smart, don’t over do it. And most of all have fun playing the game. Because that’s what it is, a game!

That’s great! My son is 13 and has a lot of the tools but lacks size, it’s coming though. My nephew just finished his first D1 baseball season, is in the Prospect League this summer batting .320+. Tell Dominic to live in the weight room, get big and strong. Look at the guys from CWS a few weeks ago, all ripped, strong and lean. Will keep an eye out for him. Had I known I would’ve looked for him in Atlanta a few weeks ago. We were headed home from a tourney and stopped to see a friend’s 17U kids pitch. May have been the same tourney.
