I'm thinking about putting this stock on a JP LRP-07. I'd like to hear from anyone that uses this stock on an AR or as part of XLR's chassis. I'm particularly interested in how solid the cheekpiece feels and whether there is any noticeable flex in the top of the buttplate (which is not supported - the angular bracing part just comes to about the middle of the plate).

Thanks,

Dave

I own both an XLR Element and Carbon chassis for bolt rifles and like the stock. If I had a complaint it would be that the radius of the cheek riser is a little too big, resulting in more head tilt to look through the scope than I prefer. I’ve gotten around that by canting the buttstock to the right a little, and that configuration works. I don’t shoot PRS, so I’m not doing weak side drills where that set-up would be a problem. Having said all of that, I’ve also been considering adding the XLR stock to my AR. I like how it engages a rear bag For shooting off the bipod, and the system’s adjustability allows me to get the perfect set-up. If they weren’t constantly out of stock I’d probably already have one.

Is VERY solid.
I actually make my own custom cheek pieces on my elements with a much larger radius similar to the JAE cheek piece.
It’s a welcome change for a pumpkin head such as myself.

Total necro post:

Dave,

Did you wind up using that stock on an AR? Were there issues with the charging handle impacting the cheek riser? Just curious. Thanks
