James Earl Jones Dead at 93

One of my favorite actors. Universally recognized for his voice.

Here's the amazing part...

He had a severely debilitating stutter as a child. It was so bad he basically refused to speak and would communicate by writing notes.

He liked Shakespeare and wanted to be an actor so he pushed through and overcame the stutter.

And for his determination we are thankful.

He also aspired to be a doctor and was pre-med before he switched gears and went into acting.

I liked the movie, A Family Thing, where Robert Duval looked his half-brother played by James Earl Jones up. Excellent movie. JEJ improved and brought a unique quality to any movie he was in.

Wow, did not know this. Ironic given he will probably be most remembered for his legendary, iconic voice.

He sold off his rather large gun collection not too many years ago.

I'll probably do the same when I'm closer to "my time." I'd want to make sure they'll go to proper homes, rather than depending on my survivors (most of them being anti-gun liberals) letting the po-po take them.

Still, I'll keep my EDC and my 1911s to the bitter end! 🤠

I've never known a widow to not dump the guns first. And there are plenty of his former 'friends' cicrcling overhead, waiting to swoop down to help her through her difficult time of need.
