Need info on the Savage 110 Scout rifle. Does it use the normal 110 short action? Does it have a barrel nut? Are the sights removable? Is there a full length Picatinny rail available for both models? I am building a truck gun and already have an accurate 17inch Savage barrel on a stagger feed LA and can't get it to feed properly. It seems the Magpull model in 223 is hard to find.

Same action, rear peep is removable, same picatinny rail as a standard Savage, doesn't matter if barrel sights are removvable if you are chunking the barrel, uses a barrel nut, haven't known them to produce a 10/110 action without a nut.
