Tac Ops Rifles

Have you talked to Mike for his suggestion? X-Ray is my favorite configuration of those mentioned. Alternatively, there’s likely a second run of KMW Sentinel based guns coming as well.

I have lots of interesting pics I wish I could share with you all but that would not be possible unfortunately...
Definitely not animals getting laid out or maybe some were animals lol

I’m probably gonna have to give them back, but I’ve been gone a while and I’m rusty… anyway, took the girls out this weekend.

KM OPS up top, Delta on the bottom. Yeah, my recoil management sucked. Yes the those two were called… but I count everything. The ATF has had my paperwork over a year now I think… sigh.

I would love to pretend to be that good of a shot to be able to squeeze out the variance of those two sticks. Also, not completely apples to apples as xray is 308 and AX had a 6.5manbun barrel in it.

Both were boringly accurate out to the 700'ish steel on the range today.

I’ll watch closely as ever… curious as to which Manners you’ll use. I’ve got a CS-2 with mini-chassis for one of my other rifles… maybe I should throw a barreled action in there to try it out ;-). See if you can sense a disturbance in the force.

If they are like me and my brothers…we can’t stand next to each other without fucking around.

Bringing them both out and one will be laying on it’s scope when I turn my back lol

That’s why I brought a big brother to keep M40 calm

Franky's place has rifle? Didn't know that. Who runs it now? Still in the family or....?

I've only shot skeet there and more often Peconic Sportsman. I'm too broken down for tournament skeet anymore so I haven't been to LI in a since before COVID. I have some great friends and memories of Peconic.

Been to the Calverton...the public range, right? It was a frightening experience, frankly.

Cheers

Calverton isn’t as bad as it used to be..that was the Wild West 20-30 years ago

Not sure who own Peconic now, been a member for about 10-12 years I guess.

Rifle out to 200 with pits
Rimfire
Pistol
Archery
Shotgun/clay
Fishing as always

Thanks for the reply...but Peconic is a big membership club. As I said, I shot skeet tournaments there many times and have a number of good friends (shotgun) there. But, COVID and we all got kind of old and don't travel and keep up like we used to.

I was asking about Brookhaven since Mr. Vigoroli (sp?) passed away. The folks I know on LI always called it "Franky's place" lol

As for Calverton....I was only there once and it was about 10 years ago or so, maybe. RO kept having to call the range cold for people doing really stupid stuff. Maybe it was just the day I was there.

In any case, thanks for taking the time to reply.

Cheers

Just an fyi for the 6.5 creedmoor guys.
I know that his reamer is set up for 140gr hornady eldms, but I’m having trouble finding them in stock, so I picked up a box of 147s to try.
They shoot just as good as the 140s, and without any shift in zero at 100.
As you go further out they have slightly more drop than the 140s, but they definitely shoot.
That’s 3 at 100. I didn’t measure it but it’s definitely low .2s high .1s
