I’ve got this and no matter how tight I turn the knob it works it’s way loose. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions?

Thank you!

Yes, I had the same issue. Got in touch with Area 419 and explained the situation. They agreed to upgrade to the lever model but I would pay the difference. Fine by me as long as I could get rid of the knob clamp. I couldn't trust it anymore. The lever model works fabulous! I will never buy a knob type arca clamp.

All my A419 clamps are the lever style and they are great.

I used the knob version that came on my MDT ckye a couple times and the gun would slide on the Arca. It was fine on a picatinny with the slots though.

I swapped it over to the lever which I use on my tripod and other bipods. Problem solved.

Other guys I know who use the knob versions have the same issues as well

I also find the lever works better as a one handed operation for QD

That’s the reason I stay with the lever, my left hand has a fairly severe tremor so I need a one hand solution. Either the A419 or the RRS sc lever are my go to clamps.
