FFP for rimfire

As long as the range varies target to target, FFP is the way to go, especially for Rimfire when 200 yards is like 600 with a center fire. When reticle visibility at minimum magnification matters, an illuminated reticle or just Center dot is the ticket. For rimfire, a wide field of view is important because the targets are so close, compared to Center fire.

It would be a hard sale for me to go back to using a SFP scope. Was using a SFP Nightforce and kept missing everything beyond 100 yards using the reticle for holdovers while not on the calibrated zoom level (10x). Once I figured that out and changed to 10x, magically started hitting the targets again

Nice subtle flex for the poors. Well done.
Sorry, I was dense, but I was more pointing at the two heavier/larger scopes around. I don't understand a scope being "too big" for a Rimfire. I know that some think of a rimfire as a youth gun, but many here shoot rimfires that weight as much, are as big as and cost as much as the centerfire rigs. They are also not all trainer guns, many of us enjoy them just as much as the centerfire rifles.

Nice to know I wasn't the only dumbass that had this problem... :ROFLMAO:
