Well she’s now back to a Cat 5. (Old school, still think of hurricanes as she)

Reminds of of 2005 only the big ones are closer together. Normally a Hurricane sucks the warmth (fuel) out of the deep water and kills any other tropical storm from achieving much strength. The dry air may be a result of Milton losing some strength before hitting the coast. Supposed to run into fairly strong shear and that is another enemy of hurricanes.
