I agree 100%in today's world of disposable consumer items (i hate it), it so cool to find out about products that are made by hand and that you can give and expect to be heirloom sort of possessions instead of tossed away or sold for a couple bucks at a yard sale.
of course it comes at a cost, but i am happy to pay and even happier if i can pass on some respect for craftsmanship to my nephew.
