Ugly Primer Seater on SAC Nexus

I asked SAC if the Ugly Primer Seater would work on the NEXUS. They said no. Well, they were wrong. I couldn't find any info on the web where this was attempted before so I just did it myself. I cut a primer tube in half to fit under the handle and just fabricated a piece of aluminum plate to sit over the Nexus case holder. Works like a champ. I will be making a more permanent plate that will have pegs that slip into the spare cam stops holes, just to hold it in place.

Yes, it can be made to work. But the ergonomics are very questionable compared to a press design way more favorable and affordable.
I'm using the Nexus to reload, not just for priming. When I do get to priming step, it's simple, die holder with UGLY slips in, ergonomics to prime are easy and smooth.

Not trying to derail the thread. But did you have trouble with the Zero sizing magnum cartridges? Or sizing in general.
Not really. I feel the ergonomics and sizing process on the Nexus is superior to the Zero (cam over, hard stop, etc.). The Zero remains a good press, I've had it since it was released. I just rarely use it anymore.

I am personally sizing and seating on Zero but decapping on a old Hornady LNL Classic and have considered getting a Ugly Primer to use on it as dedicated Decapping/Priming press. Good to know it works though because the Nexus is on my short list especially for magnums like you said!
