Truing Muzzle Velocity Before Transonic Range Limit

Just today I gathered my SD's for my new build and next weekend I'll be calibrating my true muzzle velocity through my Kestrel 5700. The issue I have, is the data the Kestrel gathered puts my round at the transonic barrier at 1398 yards. I know I am supposed to use a target 15% back from 1398 yards to get my result, but my range only goes out to 1100 yards. If I was to scale back to 1100, or even 1000, will this mess up the inputs and give inaccurate results?
