Create a channel Learn moreThanks, I already own an older LMT 308 MWS which I love. Use it for most of my deer hunting. Couldn't justify spending that much money on another AR10 and was looking at the PSA PA10 but figured the Armalite at $1300 might be the way to go. My max budget for this rifle is $1500. Knowing that the accuracy of the Armalite is really good makes it a great choice for me. I don't shoot custom handloads, just regular factory ammo purchased from the local sporting goods stores.Based on this post by @Jsp556:

I’ve never really been one to do reviews. If you’re expecting @bigjake83 , @LRRPF52 , or @sinister level info or details you’re gonna be disappointed. I don’t take a lot of pics, the ones I take are crappy, and I have poor grammer. So any time people ask about large frames I usually recommend...www.snipershide.com
I ordered this from PSA over the weekend:
Spare parts are available here:

I feel the same about spare parts but to date I haven’t broken anything. I did buy a field repair kit but that’s about it.Armalite makes a fine LFAR.
I do worry about parts availability in the future. Since Armalite doesn't sell those spare parts on their webpage anymore... but use a 2nd party webpage with limited availability.
That said, I am a spare parts nut.
Any ar15/10 FCG should work.Do these Armalite rifles take some standard parts? Only thing I might consider replacing is the FCG.

The 18” has a rifle length gas system, I think the others are shorter.I'm debating between the 14.5", 16" and 18". I do plan on running a can later down the road. Won't be shooting past 300 yards with it. Most likely will be under 200 yard 98% of the time on hogs. Based on this which would you fellas recommend?
I decided on the 18”. Since I already have a 16” AR10. I’ll report back when I get some time behind it.
Thanks. Plan on doing that soon. You chose wisely, I’d start off buying a field repair kit and an extra bolt catch or two. I’ve yet to brake any parts on my rifles after burning out two barrels but it’s always nice to have. You should be able to buy them from everygunpart.com
