Griffin Armament proudly presents our new & exclusive Terra Brown Anodized Series of rifles & parts.
This distinctive color, closely resembling RAL 8028, utilizes Type 3 Hard Coat Anodization. Internally we refer to this innovative take on Flat Dark Earth (FDE) as Forest Dark Earth. The development of Terra Brown was the result of an anodized test part, which we really liked for the color versatility. We realized an ability for the rifles to pair well with FDE, Black, and OD Green furniture, and understood that kind of versatility was beyond the realm of possibility with industry standard FDE anodizing. Even pairing well with grey furniture, Terra Brown is almost as versatile of a color as black is. When teasing this color on social media, we got a lot of positive feedback on the unique tone of the color. So we began working with an anodizer to recreate the sample part on various other aluminum parts and materials.
This color is now available for our MK1 & MK2 series of rifles, SBR'S, and pistols as well as standalone components:
