Here is a review of a my B14R I recently had rebarreled by Crossroads Precision Rifles LLC. I went with a mullerworks 1:13 twist in an M24 contour at 25 inches in length, with no muzzle threads. MDT XRS chassis and trigger tech special. Vortex strike eagle on 40 moa mount.

I spent the first few days trying different ammo— SK std+ and SK Rifle match multiple lots that I already had- the best being one of the lots of SK RM, but I wasn’t yet satisfied so I tried ELEY Match (black box) in a couple of different lots and have found what this gun really likes.

I shot 12 — 5 round groups at 50 yds between the 2 best lots.

The best group average 0.244” over 6 groups of 5 shots, second place averaged 0.288” in the same number of groups.

I was surprised at my average velocity in these 2 best groups 1120 and 1117 - on Garmin Xero. SD was 5.5 and 4.2 on those lots.

I then took it out to 100 yds and shot a couple of groups that average 0.632.

I am more than impressed with this rifle.

No cherry picking was done — all of the groups are accounted for — best single 5 shot group was 0.188 and the worst was 0.470 (courtesy of a flier that was 38 fps slower than the average)

Eley is always a FASTER than advertised ammo for me. It is really consistent like you noticed as well. Be sure to keep a tooth brush with you to clean the bolt face. I have to do this every 2 or 3 stages depending on the weather. I have this issue in 2 Vudoo's. The wax Eley uses builds up quick and causes a hard bolt close as it's trying to spread out the wax to close.

With your Mullerworks Button Rifle Barrel . Be sure to keep the chamber CLEAN after every outing. Soak it for 20-30 min with a wet mop. The dry patch the barrel from there. That is all the cleaning that is needed. If it is a Cut Rifle MW Barrel be sure to keep the whole thing clean after every outing.
