I voted today.

Yeah, Dana Loesch relayed a story today where a Tarrant County Voter complained that the machine let him choose Donald Trump on the screen, but when he went to print the paper, it was changed to Kamala Harris. Thankfully, he got it corrected after 3 attempts. The Tarrant County Board of Elections (republican Based) claims it was just a minor glitch happening to 1 out of 58,000 voters. (well, the one who noticed and reported it anyway). CHECK YOUR BALLOT RECEIPTS!

Where I live, we mark our paper ballots with circles and then put them through the machine for scanning/counting, The paper ballot is stored as a backup.
Yeah, bullshit! Just like whenever you catch an error on your grocery receipt, its always in favor of the store. I wonder how many reports you'll hear of Harris votes being "accidently" switched to Trump? Try none.

The machines we used down the road in Burnet Co. didn't have the capabilty to print out the voter's ballot receipts.

We're fuc't boys. There hasn't been a Goddamned thing done to prevent a repeat of 2020.

Does Trump like spending his money flying around, drawing huge crowds and getting shot at for nothing?
Money spent for value. It is not for nothing.

It is one last big "FUCK YOU!" to the demons, I mean DNC, but that is redundant. He's got what we call "fuck you" money. Let him spend it. At least he is not laying around saying "oh, woe is me."

Trumps a business man. He didn't get where he is blowing his money on a bad investment twice.

Surely he has a plan against a fixed election.

No ID, no vote
Motor voter. There's a reason why they pushed that through. How many states are allowing illegals to get a driver's license? I'll wager that every swing state allows it. Can't speak English? No problem. The ballot is available in many languages and if you can't read they will provide someone to help.

And, he doesn't like to loose.
This is his last Hurrah, and I bet he (And Musk) have a plan.
If they can keep the cheating in check (Or cheat better) they have a chance.

They have to worry about two things, primarily. One: What the Dominion machines are going to report; and Two, the ability to keep tabs on the election officials stuffing the boxes with fake ballots overnight after election day, once they determine how far behind they are. Hopefully, we will have bumped up our participation so much that they can't keep up with the "steal." And, hopefully, they'll have poll watchers that won't allow the officials to kick them out (and put up cardboard) so they can't monitor what the officials are doing.

That said, all this vigilance will do is get DJT in the door. How effective he can be after he's in is dependent on a couple of different things.,, primarily, the make up of the House and Senate, which we absolutely need to hold/take back respectively. If the dems get the House back, then they'll just keep impeaching, impeaching, impeaching, which if we take back the Senate, may not result in much at all, but still it's a drain on his resources. If we keep the House but not take back the Senate, we lose our ability to appoint conservative judges, SCOTUS justices, and high govt. officials, etc. We absolutely need to do that. I want another conservative/constitutionalist justice on SCOTUS, replacing one of the Lberal justices, or replacing Roberts. But I also want some more conservative judges in the 2nd, 3rd and 9th Circuit, etc. etc.

I don't see how that happens, not unless the Repubs get a "Sorros" to do the groundwork. He is firmly implanted in changing those courts, and without someone on the Repubs side doing the same, it won't happen. IMO.

I love early voting as an option. My work actually gave everyone Election Day off and encouraged us to vote (without naming a specific candidate) which I think is rather awesome.
Election Day should be a federal holiday. I've known people that literally didn't get time to vote because of work.

Even early voting is something that shouldn't be allowed. Lets be real, all the votes should be cast on Election Day and counted before midnight. Absentee ballots notwithstanding.

Must disagree. The problem with "Election day only" voting is that there could he a host of problems! Weather is bad... Power goes out at the polling place (or some other such problem), The ballot machines can "go bad..." etc. etc. , Also, the crowds will be way too much for individual precincts to handle on their own if everyone votes on the same day. I'd much rather have at least one week of early voting so that if there are problems, they can be resolved long before voting is closed for that election!

That said, I do agree with stopping the vote at the close of polls on Election day and not allowing any further counting. You count what you have at that point, plus any legitimate absentees (or military) as long as the are postmark by Election day.

Maybe and maybe not. Other countries do it.

If it was a huge holiday and everyone had it off and it lasted all day and was a big celebration it could be pretty fun. But then again I don't live in an area with massive crowds.

And that's the problem. Those other countries aren't the USA, with the USA's huge population and the associated issues with that.

i early voted a week or so ago. at least in Loudoun County, VA, your filled out paper ballot is fed into a machine, and the machine simply ups the cumulative ballot count by one. zero confirmation of whom you voted for.
Precisely how mine works as well. Only the machine intakes the paper ballot and stores it. They are collected and sent off to the Election commission office for safe keeping and backup.

I think some early voting is necessary, but we REALLY, REALLY need to figure out how to secure the elections from fraud..

It's fucking rampant.

CNN is reporting a 100% chance that an elite douchebag wins, and that taxes will increase year over year for the next 4 years! They also stated a large percentage of your tax dollars will be sent to purposes outside the country. Bet you all didn't see that coming! Vote early, vote often, and vote harder!

OK. I voted this morning. Not bad on the crowds. They were regulating how many were able to walk in at a time, but they let me in immediately. Took only about 10-20 min.

As I was awaiting my Lyft ride home, I saw all the political signs posted on the grounds of the Library (Polling Place). Most of them are for the State and county officials. And most are GOP. In fact, I saw only one sign for each Presidential Candidate in the ground. There were two signs for Harris, but like I said, only two signs were "in the ground." The other Harris sign::

Warms my heart!

2020 on repeat… Y’all need to vote harder.
If we all actually voted and quit whining, they would not be able to cheat enough to overcome our vote. Or if they could manufacture that many fake votes, then maybe that would raise to the level of widespread fraud and it could be beaten in the courts. GO VOTE!

Just got done voting myself.

Where I voted, they actually checked my ID to make sure the photo was me. Then had me sign a computer pad to match my signature to my ID. I was then given a ballot that I had to initial saying it was the correct ballot in the correct district. There were no Dominion machines, but they were using these white "ExpressVote" computers.

Who knows what happens once the vote goes into the machines, but the vetting process was comforting.

Florida here.

Wife had a mail in ballot. She filled it out yesterday and when she went to put it in the envelope, the bottom was sliced open.
We assumed correctly, her letter opener did the slicing.
She likes to physically drop off her ballot, so we got in the van and headed to the library.
Once inside, she asked the man and woman about the envelope and both said they could not accept it. They told her she could vote in person, but the live ballot had to be destroyed before receiving another, which she would have to fill out on site.

After ID check and signature verification, she had a new ballot with her assigned serial number.

Once completed, both of us put ours into the machine, one page at a time. The two sided page took twice as long to scan as the single page.

Got the confirmation of ballot verified, and we were done.
Went and had tacos for lunch.

I wish our machines gave some kind of a confirmation of sorts! Literally only shows the count of the ballots the machine has taken go up by one. That’s it. Zero way of knowing if it was counted correct, who/what you voted for etc. good on y’all. Really makes me wonder why the hell se cannot get a number on election night with all this early voting. Again, I remember the old school days when all this was done by hand, and even then we had a count by the end of the night. With all this new tech and they saying we can’t have an idea the night of? Something is amiss.

We do have a count by the end of the night. They won't release it because they need time to print fake ballots. Fuck, we have realtime feed in 2020 with numbers jumping backwards as they had to transfer votes.. otherwise we would have had 130% turnout in every stolen county.

Yeah, I mean a real count. I remember the live feed and how far Trump was ahead and then magically at 2-3am the impossible happened.

Texas-I voted Friday in person, curb side, because I never received the mail in ballot I requested because of mobility issues. The first thing they say is that I got a mail in ballot. Nope. I want to vote now because it is the last day to re-request a mail in and I'm here now and want to vote.

So I have to go through a rigamaroll and manually fill in a manual provisional ballot. Then the poll worker tried to recruit me since I'm retired. $13 an hour.

Waived at the Trump/Vance people standing in the shade as I left.

interesting that our school di strict will be closed on Election day and the day before because of the election.

That's to make room for guard units to have a kill box for those not voting for the commie.

One downside logistically is all the "write in" ballots. Years ago I'd take the day off and work as a poll worker. After the polls closed we'd have to check for any ballots not counted already by the machine and then also hand count and tally all the votes for "Michael Jordan", movie stars, etc. Sometimes it took a long time. I like being able to show up to the election commission in advance and just vote then. Love the federal holiday, at least every 4 if not 2 years.... the amount of other holidays, why not one for this.

I'm definitely voting for Mike Hunt and Mike Oxlong. That ticket totally fucks.
