My 308 and 260 bullets shows a ring after seating them. Researched online about the fix. Some sand the seater plug, load it with hot glue then push the bullet in to form a better fit, send bullets to die manufacturer for custom seater plug.

I called up RCBS and mentioned these options. I asked why they wouldn’t recommend sanding. They say either the plug may be damaged or you will introduce Concentrix org issues. It made sense. The bullets are Barnes TTSX BT and Nosler ABLR.

It costs $19 per caliber plus $7 shipment fee. Anyone had a good experience with this custom seater plug from RCBS?
