Being from Iowa, I was disappointed to see we were not on the list in the case but I guess it was an Iowa sheriff that was sentenced to prison and started this appeal so that's good. No idea if this gets any traction or not? Could be a step in the right direction

Any Legs to This Case Against the Hughes Amendment?

I only watched the video but have not read the case. It looks good from the standpoint of there being a sympathetic defendant (a police officer) that is not being accused of anything other than running afoul of the administrative state. Usually these cases are harder to get judges to support because the defendant is a real scumbag. This could very well be the right case to kill off the Hughes Amendment.
Keep your fingers crossed that the Supreme Court composition does not change and that this gets there fast. If it does, good things could happen for all of us.
