Ba ba da baaaa baaa lovin that e. Coli......

So, it's only the onions on the 1/4 pounder?

They use different onions on other burgers?

Ok I am no McEngineer I don't understand do all the burgers come premade?

That what it sounds like.

That's McFucked up!
40 years ago, when I worked at McD's, the Quarter Pounder and the McDLT were both fresh, sliced onions. The hamburger, cheeseburger, and Big Mac all had "reconstituted minced onion".

What machine produces what product, using what app nowadays, I have no idea. This was a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.....

1/4 lb burger is the only one from fresh, not frozen, beef. It also uses sliced onion, not chopped as in their other burgers. Apparently, the onions caused the illness.

Having had food poisoning this week, and blew my guts out, I feel for the people who picked-up that bacteria . BUT... I am sure the quality will be much higher when a couple more million of the new undocumented that still wipe their ass with their hand filters into the distributed restaurant Industrial processed foods work force.
.
edit add.. it was my fault. I new when I walked into the place that it was the locals greasy spoon eats. so my bad.

Double 1/4 pounder at about 5:45:

Just skipped around but didn't see a single glove change or wipe-down, and the guy touches everything after touching everything else.

weird how they announced this right after trump worked in one, even though the last person to get sick was 10 days earlier and mcdonald's had already pulled the fresh sliced onions...

cdc is a bunch of fucking criminals.
My sentiments exactly... they are 'punishing' McDonalds for letting Trump in. Bureaucratic regulation-lawfare.

Never a mention of food poisioning at Starbucks or Chipotle or the lefty food joints.

Did YOU hear about any of these??

  • Chicken, Maple Butter, and Egg Sandwich
In 2022, Starbucks removed this sandwich from its menu after customers and employees reported food poisoning symptoms. The company cited a quality control issue, which could have meant that staff weren't properly trained on how to prepare or store the ingredients.

  • Sausage, Egg, and Cheddar Cheese on English Muffin
In 2016, Starbucks recalled 6 ounce packages of this breakfast sandwich after it was found to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. The sandwiches were distributed to 250 Starbucks locations in Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. Symptoms of Listeria poisoning include muscle aches, headache, nausea, fever, diarrhea, and stiff neck.

  • Coffee
Coffee has been recalled nationwide due to a risk of food poisoning. Symptoms of botulism, a rare but serious form of food poisoning, include general weakness, dizziness, double vision, and trouble with speaking or swallowing.

Hey, I remember working in restaurants when we never used gloves, in fact at my house I still don't use gloves. I've served hundreds of meals and never had anyone get sick. The only time someone got sick was when I was a bachelor and cooked a steak that didn't look or smell right but I figured if I cooked it enough it would be 'OK'. I was amazed because I ate off food carts in Mexico City and never ever got 'The Revenge'. We live in a world of pussies.

Watching that McDonald's food assembly video in post 9 I am thinking how in the fuck does anyone do THAT for an 8 hour day, let alone day after day after day. These people should welcome robot automation to give them a kick in the ass to go do something more with themselves in life (I know not everyone is capable). Not picking on anyone's career choices here, but no wonder depression is a thing

Anyone that thinks eating out in any chain restaurant is eating clean and well cared for food is in fantasy land. Most chain restaurant workers DGAF about you or your food or whatever it is that they serve you. You are eating other people sweat and asshair, food is probably not kept at a safe temperature, most likely bugs have crawled on your food and something fell on the floor at least once.

I am talking about chain restaurants here, less likely if you go to an award winning chef restaurant and that chef is personally preparing your $$$$$ meal, like a James Beard Award winning chef, and even then it can be hit or miss depending on the day.

millions eat whatever germs and scum in restaurants daily and survive, so most of it isn't going to harm you its just gross to think about.
